In any business, a solid distribution system is part of the equation for success. All things considered, product distribution and availability have been the most difficult part of our business equation. There are a number of reasons for this troublesome availability/distribution problem:
- Unavailability of numerous [3 or more!] of the high quality feed ingredients and or acceptable substitutes, used in the manufacture of any nutritious cervid feed.
- Unwillingness to manufacture a high-quality feed, which directly competes with a "highly profitable and lower quality" company, feed line.
- Large minimum orders, which may be as high as 4-6 ton minimums. This would precipitate increased "inventory costs", which in turn increase the overall feed price.
- Regional high ingredient prices, which effectively price a quality feed out of the possibility of reality.
The good news is that there are a number of quality conscious pellet mills that carry the necessary ingredients and charge a fair price for them. These mills maintain careful monitoring of their sources to be sure there is no chance of contaminated feed ingredients getting into your pellets. We are very careful when choosing a potential manufacturer of our product line, because Quality is our primary concern! There may be occasions where a Pellet mill may want to take on an additional product line in order to capture, or re-capture the regional area feed category (deer & elk feed).
This is "mutual partnership" and works very well for all parties, and puts significant market pressure on poorly designed, poor ingredient products that live and die by costly advertising.

What we expect from a potential Partner Mill is really quite simple; An honest - fair price, with a long term relationship in mind. The customer is to be respected with an effective, fair value product.
1. The formulation is accurately followed, not least cost. Any substitutions or additions must be approved by us before pelleting.
