Bio-Tec Research is involved in a number of different areas of endeavor. Our deer & elk nutrition product line called "Buckhorn Trophy Products" is simply the best consumer quality and value in the entire industry! Only the best "INDEPENDENT", peer reviewed research is used in product formulation along with the finest feed ingredients.

Bio-Tec Research is also involved in addressing important and sometimes controversial issues effecting our:

a. Hunting and fishing heritage
b. Hunting and fishing ethics
c. Conservation, Natural Resource, and Cultural Issues

Each topic of discussion will encourage critical, independent thought, and will be supported by the most unbiased facts available.

Corporate philosophy:

Corporate philosophy and the manner a company conducts itself in providing goods and services to the public are inseparable. We believe in giving the end user a value packed product, that is packed full of quality ingredients; and at the same time, presenting that product at a fair every-day low price. In addition, we believe it is important for the end user to become more aware of the "features" of their product, which in turn will maximize the return to their individual operations. The "How" and "Why" a particular product works is important, and an honest disclosure of that information is often helpful to the end user/consumer. The following guidelines will be rigorously followed in producing Buckhorn Trophy Products line of Cervid nutrition products:

1. Use only the best, peer reviewed, INDEPENDENT research in formulating and producing our product line.
a. NO "secret" studies, whose research and results are "secret and proprietary" as well as "non - available" OR "reproducible" in academic circles and to the general public. There is a real good reason "secret studies" like that are kept secret! They are designed to make investors money as much as grow larger antlers and healthier deer. We will leave the convoluted, complex language with simple, "Silver Bullet" solutions to the advertising departments of other big name companies, and simply provide you with a direct, honest answer to your questions.

2. Keep advertising and promotional costs to a bare minimum. While advertising and promotion costs have their place in developing "Brand Loyalty" the fact of the matter is; these costs provide no nutrition to your deer or elk herd. These are very real costs on a balance sheet, and must somehow be recovered for investors.
a. Bio-Tec Research, Inc has NO expensive "name brand" royalties. Royalties add little to the product line nutrition-wise.

3. Keep expensive, incentive laden sales staff at a bare minimum. Paying salaries and sales commissions to company salesmen are not part of Bio-Tec's policy. Although they increase product awareness, and increase consumer pressure to buy, they likewise add little to the end nutritional product, and will have to be recovered via the price of the feed. If you want a salesman in your driveway or on the phone to you after work, Bio-Tec won't be a viable option.

4. Use only the highest quality, most biologically available feed ingredients. There never has been or never will be a "least cost" formulation in our feed! Bio-Tec uses maximum "Effective levels" of all nutritional inputs: NOT simply "Tag Dressing" designed to sell product on the basis of "ingredient name" while excluding "ingredient inclusion rate."

5. Never include ingredients which have "Anti-Nutritional Factors" like, cottonseed, and formaldehyde binders, which will stress your herd to various degrees, and will negatively impact the ability of your herd to live up to its full genetic potential!

6. Rely heavily upon "independent feed tests", which are the true barometer of what nutritional level your feeding program is providing your deer or elk herd.
